Document management, ERP and Voice over IP - Investment propensity of German ITC sector is undiminished

Waghäusel, 3 March 2009 - ITC companies' propensity for investment remains undiminished. Document management solutions (DMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Voice over IP (VoIP) lead the ranking drawn up by ama Adress- und Zeitschriften Verlags GmbH at the beginning of 2009.

The market leader for company-related IT information surveys German IT companies' investment projects on a regular basis. According to ama GmbH's latest study a total of 387 companies currently intend to invest in DMS, a long way ahead of other projects. In second and third place come ERP (182 companies) and VoIP (170 companies). These trends shows that companies want to make their processes more efficient and therefore cheaper by the use of software. Costsavings by switching telecoms provider are a priority for 166 companies.
