Milan, 14 June 2011 – SIRMI SPA has recently issued its analysis on the Digital Technology Market for the
first quarter of 2011. The market still maintains a negative trend (-2,5%) in comparison with the same
period of last year, owing to the persisting economic critical situation. No sign of recovery is expected for
the full year.

ICT Market trend is still negative, due to the critical economic and
financial moment and the consequent reduction of propulsion to expense by families and enterprises.
ICT Market registers a total End User contraction of -2,5%.

IT Market sectors decrease, with the exception of
Software, that shows a flat trend.
Services is the category with the strongest decrease
: Management Services (-2,8%), and
Development Services (-5,9%).
In the course of 2011 it is expected a partial recovery for
TLC Market, but also the full year will close
with a negative sign. First quarter of 2011 closes with a total decrease of -2,3% in terms of end user
expenses; in particular, the TLC Fixed maintain a strong negative trend (-4,1%).
